- Anticipation of Trouble
- Signages
- Gun Handling, Pistol Maintenance, and Ammunition
- Equipment for Effective Concealed Carry

We will be administering a written examination at the end of the lectures. Time permitting, we will discuss and practice firearm presentation from the holster, sight alignment, and trigger control drills using a laser-activated shot report training aid.
Day Two: Qualification Course
Eye Protection – If you wear prescription glasses, they will suffice. Otherwise, you may need an inexpensive pair of safety glasses.
Ear Protection – Any ear protection will suffice, but noise-canceling electronic ear muffs are preferred. They enable you to hear instructions without taking your earplugs or earmuffs on and off.
Baseball Cap – This is recommended but not required. It helps with preventing hot brass from hitting your head and face. We do not recommend low-cut shirts for the same reason.
Firearm – This is required. Please make sure it is unloaded and stored in a proper container. If you do not have one, please let us know during the classroom portion of the course, and we will provide you with one for the qualification portion. Please note that you will have to purchase the ammunition yourself.
Holster – If you do not have a holster, please inform us.
Spare Magazines – These are not required but highly recommended.
Ammunition – Course of Fire requires 50 rounds of ammunition. However, it is best to bring approximately 100–150 rounds for practice drills before and after the qualification.
This part of the training will start with some non-firing drills to help familiarize you with presenting the firearm from the holster. We will then move on to basic drills that address sight alignment and trigger control. Then, we will begin the qualification course. We can run a few more drills afterwards if there is sufficient time and interest.
